Our Chef, Chris Couch, came to Jeffrey's in 2005 after spending time at some of Lake Norman's most highly regarded establishments. Tenures at The Peninsula Yacht Club, The Point, and Fuzion Cafe gave Chris the opportunity to develop and perfect the culinary point of view he offers his guests at Jeffrey's. Chris's North Carolina roots combined with influences from other parts of the world help him to create meals that are delicious and memorable.

"I've always liked the straight-forward and satisfying style of Southern cuisine but I'm also inspired by the creative use of fresh herbs and produce that are at the core of classic Italian and French recipes." Chris's has one very simply goal, "I want our guests to able to relax and enjoy every meal as if it was a social event we planned just for them. To be able to go to work every day and be a part of that is the most rewarding job you could ask for."
